The Red Dragons ensured that their “2024 Wrex Coast Tour” finished with a flourish, with a 4-1 victory enjoyed on Canadian soil. Said success was the first for Phil Parkinson’s side on their second trip over the Atlantic, having already played out notable draws with Premier League sides Bournemouth and Chelsea.

Sebastian Revan, James McClean, Elliot Lee and Jordan Davies got the goals for Wrexham, with Giuseppe Bovalina grabbing a consolation effort for the hosts. There were over 34,000 supporters in attendance, with many of those cheering for the visitors from North Wales.

Reynolds, in his home town, was among those seen clapping along from the stands. He was joined in a hospitality box by fellow Wrexham co-owner McElhenney – who had previously taken in the 2-2 stalemate with Chelsea at Levi’s Stadium in San Francisco.
WHAT NEXT FOR WREXHAM?
Wrexham will now return to the United Kingdom in order to finalise their preparations for the 2024-25 season. Parkinson’s side, who are still hoping to get more transfer business done, will open their first League One campaign in 20 years at home to Wycombe on August 10.
